My first rant of 2015

As a mother and wife I MUST protest what is happening to our society and people. To start off, let me say I am neither a conservative nor liberal and I prefer the Independent party to the two mainstays which look so much alike that lately the could be the same. Here is what I believe.
1. The founding fathers got it right when writing up the Bill of Rights and Constitution. Though we have the right to our speech, our religious beliefs etc. We don’t have the right to FORCE our beliefs on others.
2. Yes, people should help those less fortunate, but that does not mean we have to keep shelling out money for those over seas who are DEMANDING we help them while they are saying we are evil etc. There is a saying that if you give a man a fish he will feast for a day but if you TEACH a man to fish he will feast for a lifetime. If you look at what we did to the Indians making them dependent on handouts to the point where they would rather not be independent but dependent, then you will see a failed experiment.
3. Our government (or rather the Pres.) thinks they know how we should live better than we do. They made it so that we are so regulated that we no longer can work without penalties. And as for the so-called affordable insurance act, that is a complete disaster. We are told we are going to be fined if we don’t have it. I can’t afford it but that doesn’t matter. I can’t take meds., and I seldom go to the hospital (usually taking someone else.) It has nothing for preventative medicine, dental, visual nor Chiropractic. I am not a cookie-cutter citizen, which is what THAT insurance is. I am too old for Medicaid and too young for Medicare. I am not working except for the occasional order for baked goods or teas, none of which are worth shipping since the items I sell cost less than it costs to ship them. I can’t afford to hire people to help nor a “website,” “brick and mortar,” nor the advertising to draw attention to them. In short I want to work (no one is hiring due to the red-tape, distance between my town and jobs, my age and gender. So where do I get the money for the penalties for NOT having his insurance? I don’t.
4. People who can’t work for various reasons are not necessarily lazy, stupid, lovers of welfare. There are those of us who want to work and are put into the category of lazy while being told the jobs we want are going to illegals. We WILL survive because we know how without subsidies and handouts.

There is a blogger who keeps saying that the US is dying. That we will no longer be able to get food and there will be rioting. I don’t believe it will happen in the rural areas because those who live here are farmers, ranchers and people who can survive by raising their own foods. In the big cities there are regulations, which forbid gardens, goat, chickens and other means to feed us. They force us to rely on foodstamps and other handouts instead of allowing us to take care of our families and ourselves. No, the US is not dying it is sleeping until the idiots who tell us we can’t take care of ourselves will be kicked out and we start doing what we know is right!

Politically Correct Strikes again!

This country was founded on rights, but there are those who deem to take them away from us and FORCE us to actually follow THEIR line of thoughts. One of those lines of thoughts is you can’t say or do ANYTHING if it offends someone else. Today is COLUMBUS DAY. Funny thing is Banks (especially those who are originated in California) are calling it Native American Day. The thing is we are celebrating a man (good or bad) who by his discovery of these lands proved to the Europeans that the world was round AND allowed may of our ancestors to escape the tyranny of the European rulers. The “Native Americans” as the PC-ers are calling Indians now, were already here. Did they happen to do something on this day to merit having THIS day named Native American Day? I don’t recall ANYTHING done on this day. Don’t tell me that I am not allowed to state these facts either. That is my right as a citizen of the USA. I have a right to state ANYTHING without being persecuted for it as the Europeans were back before the pilgrims arrived. And many of our ancestors ARE from the Indians who lived here. So I have a RIGHT to say this. If someone has done something courageous who changed history, celebrate it under the name it has been for OVER 100 years and NOT change it because it might offend someone. Because of these PC-ers we can’t enjoy Christmas decorations, songs, worship how or where we wish and now we are not allowed to celebrate a day which changed our lives back in 1492! NOR are we allowed to teach our children our history! WHEN will we quit cowing down to the political MINORITY and do what we know is RIGHT under our LAWS, the BILL OF RIGHTS, and CONSTITUTION!

Recent rulings and those who don’t want to realize what it means for them.

It seems that the ruling in favor of  Hobby Lobby has created quite a stir in both the polytheist, and Atheist communities. They seem to think that it is a blow against their beliefs/religions. The thing is, it is not just for the Christian businesses, but for everyone. What Hobby Lobby is basically asking is don’t force them to provide things which have nothing to do with actual business. That includes condoms. Personally I applaud this ruling because it allows businesses to run their businesses as THEY see fit and not being told how to think and act as the GOVERNMENT sees fit. Think about it. Freedom of Religion, one of our basic rights in the Bill of rights, states nobody, government, dictators, kings or other religions, nations etc. HAVE A RIGHT to TELL US HOW, WHEN NOR WERE WE CAN WORSHIP/PRACTICE OUR BELIEFS. (This includes those politically correct idiots who say we can not display our religious symbols, jewelry or decorations or praying in public for fear we will offend people who are allowed to do what they want. Double standards there).  Businesses should not be FORCED to provide condoms nor contraceptives to their employees. THAT is the responsibility of the  EMPLOYEE! AND if we comply with “OBAMA CARE” most small businesses will either drop their employees or close completely. Most companies will look outside of the US for cheaper labor which is not regulated by the US! So it was not JUST for Christians, it symbolized all people who are being forced to loose their rights to a greedy administration!

Treading on ones rights ~

There are many people out there trying to take the word “GOD” off money out of the pledge and anywhere it is visible. They say it is against the rights of those who do believe? What about those who are Pagan? Those who HONOR MANY DEITIES? The thing is someone said the word GOD was a resent addition to the pledge and money. What they forget is that it is used in the CONSTITUTION! The idea of the bill of rights protects the right to the religious  to worship or not ANYWHERE OR HOW they wish without interference. So if you are Atheist, you don’t have to say the words, nor spend the money that seems to offend you so much. If you are of any religious persuasion you can put up your decorations while the atheists can ignore them or go else where. I am Pagan, and people think I should be offended but the display of Christmas decor and music out there. That I should protest the use of “GOD” in our society. But to be honest, I have every right to display symbols of my beliefs as well, and I personally don’t begrudge Christians their displays, holidays or wording as long as I have the same chance and they don’t go door to door saying “You can not believe that what because it offends us. Isn’t this what Atheists are close to doing? I consider the word “GOD” as a general term and I usually silently replace it with Deities. Money is money. It doesn’t bother me that it has GOD on it. It would bother me more if it didn’t. With checks and debt cards you aren’t even using money 90% of the time. Think on it. Some “Atheists” are suing a school for the word “GOD” being in the pledge. But in so doing they are treading on the constitutional rights of everyone else to chose whither or not to say the word. WHAT A WASTE of TAX PAYER’S MONEY! Who do they think pays for those frivolous lawsuits whither or not they win! Yet another sign of POLITICAL CORRECTNESS! Come on guys there are more important issues out there rather than the word GOD!

Another example of Political correctness

Having several Face Book sites and friends of many religious beliefs, including Beliefs there are no Deities, Monotheists and Pagans (Polytheism), I happened to re-post a statement which said “The words are one country under GOD… Deal with it.” One of my Pagan friends chewed me out for it. The problem was that she was  saying I could not post it because she was a pagan and I was not. Funny that many Pagans use the term GOD as a general term to mean DEITY (no gender) and yet they seem to forget that the whole thing is the fact that EVERYONE has a right to worship when, where  and how they want WITHOUT being punished for it. THAT is in the Bill of Rights. We also have have the right to speak out minds WITHOUT repercussions. This TOO is int the Bill of Rights. Her saying I (Who am a PAGAN as well) have not right to post that is kind of ridiculous.  As we become more and more afraid to speak our minds and defend what we believe  is right, the more apt we are of being ruled by a dictator style country where we can no longer have our own businesses, speak our minds, worship as we wish, make money, or protect ourselves. I really hope people will see this and understand that being politically correct is NOT the way to go!
