Pipe line truth or dare!

I happen to be Cree, and I also have happened to do my research on the pipe line and what is happening in N. Dakota.

  1. The pipe line is not on Indian land.
  2. There are 5 other pipe lines which date back to the late 1800’s which are probably more apt to leak and cause more damage than what is currently being installed.
  3. Those who are postdating this are like the scabbers who were brought into the area to disrupt negotiations with union reps.back during the time of Taft.
  4. If they were so worried about this why did they wait until all the LEGAL permits were issued  They were invited to talk about their concerns but never showed.
  5. Those who are protesting are thug and have caused more harm to those who live and work the lands of N. Dakota as well as disrupting traffic and causing harm to those not even involved.

Sure we have a right to demonstrate or voice our protests, but in a peaceful way. I know I may not be popular with my opinions, but I state things as I see them and in this case once I have done the research. It saddens me that we have become so reliant on the idea that government should care for us and that we should make people pay for the crimes of those who the current population had no control over. I say we should cut the apron strings and start taking responsibility for our own lives and our own actions. PC only weakens us and relying on those to tell us what to do when we know it is NOT the right thing also undermines our welfare and  our lives.  Get rid of those who are telling us that violence is right. And get rid of those who threaten this country by paying thugs and people from other states to do their dirty work and claim it is for the good of the Native Americans. THAT is a down right lie!  To get rid of the pipeline will also make us vulnerable to those who control the oil in other countries. Let’s get over this crap and get back to living our lives without violence.

More crap from Yahoo & Microsoft!

I wonder why they think we are stupid? I updated my Yahoo account about three weeks ago, and Yahoo keeps sending me requests to “update your yahoo account” because it is out of date. And Microsoft has made all their free games only a three week trial and won’t let me play them any more. I am also, because I refuse to opt into their monthly rental on their Microsoft office, getting demands that I upgrade to their rental because my version (the last one they put onto a DVD) is “out of date!”
W.T.F!  I will not rent a program which in the long run costs me more than one I down load off a disk that has everything I need on it and can use for many years on any computer I own for less than the rental itself! And their guys had the GALL to tell me that if I can’t afford their so called cheep rentals how could I afford a computer in the first place? Now I somehow got one note onto my computer. I have tried to uninstall it and it says the program is not on my computer! If it isn’t then why must I sign onto it before using my computer?
I want less corporate interference in my life as well as less government! Ever since I upgraded to windows 10 my computer has been a nightmare! Microsoft and now Yahoo! LEAVE ME, MY COMPUTER and WELL ENOUGH ALONE!!!!

A double passing …

People may think it is strange I am mentioning both a fur-baby and a human passing in the same post, but since they passed in that sequence over the weekend I will talk about both in this blog.

The fur-baby started out in Michigan where my husband found her at a local shelter. She was the runt of a box of kittens someone had dumped off for adoption/disposal back in 1999. She traveled with him back to California and ended up with mom as her companion in 2004. She ended up traveling with mom to the Dakotas with two other cats and out lived them by many years. She was around 18 when she drew her last breath at 729 am on Sat.

Cleo and his wife were responsible for us moving from New Mexico to the Dakotas, and they became great friends. Cleo ran a real estate business and Carolyn was his partner in the business. Both worked hard in the community who didn’t accept strangers. He had heart problems and Diabetes, which cost him both legs and many trips to the hospital.  He was also an unpublished writer for which I hope will not remain so since Carolyn was editing his last book and I hope will have published soon. He passed in his sleep last night.

We will miss them both.
